Late Wednesday night, the top shelf of Uttar Pradesh bureaucracy faced a major reshuffle. According to the orders the officers who have been transferred are:
- Additional chief secretary (Appointments) Mukul Singhal has been eased out and shifted to Revenue Board as chairman.
- Senior IAS Devesh Chaturvedi has been given the additional charge of Appointments and Agriculture.
- IAS Suresh Chandra has been handed the additional charge of planning
- Senior IAS Manoj Kumar has been given the additional charge of ACS Revenue along with the Panchayati Raj that he holds.
- Senior bureaucrat Deepak Kumar along with housing has been given the additional charge of principal secretary Basic Education.
