New Delhi: Veteran bureaucrat and former Union Steel Secretary Nagendra Nath Sinha has been appointed as the Managing Director of Rodic Digital & Advisory, a newly launched subsidiary of Rodic Consultants, the engineering and infrastructure consulting firm announced on Thursday.
Sinha, a 1987 batch IAS officer (Jharkhand cadre), brings with him decades of leadership in critical infrastructure, rural development, and strategic policy implementation at the national level.
From Bureaucracy to Boardroom
Sinha retired as the Union Secretary for Steel, after holding several pivotal roles across ministries, including Secretary of Rural Development and Border Management, and top leadership positions in premier infrastructure bodies such as Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Managing Director of NHIDCL.
His career has been marked by his leadership in high-impact national projects such as the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, Zojila Tunnel, and contributions to India’s Greening Roadmap for the steel industry.

New Role, Digital Vision
At Rodic Digital & Advisory, Sinha will spearhead the firm’s mission to deliver AI-driven, real-time digital governance solutions aimed at enhancing institutional decision-making. The firm will bridge execution and policy through platforms that turn live operational data into actionable strategic insights.
“The opportunity here is to connect execution with strategy, and insight with action—to create systems that are not only smart but deeply responsive to public needs,” Sinha said after his appointment.

Raj Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Rodic Consultants, emphasized that Sinha’s leadership marks a turning point for the company’s next phase of growth.
