IPS Modak Rajesh Dineshrao Made DIG, CISF

A 2003 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Mr Modak Rajesh Dineshrao has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for a period of five years.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday (03.05.2023), his appointment to the post was approved for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mr Modak hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra. He was Inspector General of Police, Law and Order, Lucknow UP, and also served as SP and SSP of various districts in the state, including SSP Moradabad and Varanasi Deputy and Superintendent of Police in Basti district.
