Himachal Pradesh cadre IPS officer Dinesh Kumar Yadav has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday, the competent authority has approved the appointment of 1998 batch IPS officer, Mr. Yadav to the post on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
