Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has issued a order of transfer for 4 IPS officers. The police chiefs of Bijnor and Mahoba district have been shifted. IPS Prabhakar Chowdhary will be new SP of Bijnor as IPS Dinesh Singh is critically ill and admitted to Noida’s Fortis Hospital.
55 year old Mr. Dinesh, who is 2011 batch promoted IPS officer, was rushed to Fortis hospital where he is undergoing treatment after brain hemorrhage. His wife Sudha Singh, who is also 2011 batch promoted IPS and was posted as SP Mahoba, has also gone on leave following her husband’s health.
IPS Aparna Gupta has been named as the new SP of Mahoba. While IPS Shiva Singh, who was posted as assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Varanasi, and IPS Shurti Singh, who was posted as ACP Kanpur, have been replaced by each other.
