IPS officer Sudheer Kumar Neelakantam, Joint Commissioner of Police, SB, Security, Kolkata has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police in Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate. He belongs to 2007 batch of West Bengal cadre.
In 2020, Mr. Neelakantam was selected along with IPS officer Murli Dhar, Joint CP, Crime, Kolkata for West Bengal CM’s medal for excellence in their service.
