More than three dozen IAS shifted in Bihar, includes 13 DM

Bihar government ordered major reshuffle of IAS officer on Saturday. According to the order 13 district got their new magistrate while 25 officers have been given position in different department of sate government.

Here is the list of new DMs

1. Rajkumar, Director of Social Welfare Department, has been made DM of Bhojpur.
2. Sheikhpura DM Inayat Khan was made the District Magistrate of Araria.
3. Begusarai DM Arvind Kumar Verma became the DM of Madhubani.
4. Shrikant Shastri, the director of Bihar Education Project, became the DM of Kishanganj.
5. Bhojpur DM Roshan Kushwaha was made the DM of Begusarai.
6. Vaishali’s DM Udita Singh was made the DM of Nawada.
7. Nawada DM Yashpal Meena became the DM of Vaishali.
8. Banka DM Suharsh Bhagat was made the DM of Purnia.
9. Jail IG Manesh Kumar Meena became the DM of Sitamarhi.

10. Sawan Kumar, Joint Secretary, Rural Department, became the DM of Sheikhpura.
11. Patna’s DDC Richie Pandey became the DM of Jehanabad.
12. Joint Secretary Khan Anshul Kumar became the new DM of Banka.
13. Mukul Kumar Gupta, MD of North Bihar Power Company became the DM of Sheohar.

2. Additional secretary of SC-ST Welfare Department, Divesh Sehra, has additional responsibility of Jail IG.
3. Animal Husbandry Director Vinod Singh Gunjial became Director Student and Youth Welfare
4. Director Consumer Protection Dinesh Kumar became the MD of Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation
5. Bihar State Tourism Corporation’s MD Prabhakar became the MD of North Bihar Power Distribution Company
6. Director Statistics Baidyanath Yadav became Special Secretary of Planning and Development Department
7. IG Registration B Kartikeya has been given additional charge of Officer on Special Duty, Institute of Rural Development and Public Administration
8. Director Information and Public Relations Department Kanwal Tanuj became the MD of Bihar State Tourism Corporation
9. Jehanabad DM Himanshu Kumar Rai became the Additional Secretary of Animal and Fisheries Resource Department
10. Purnia DM Rahul Kumar has been made State Mission Director Jeevika
11. Jeevika State Mission Director Balamurugan D will be the chairman of Bihar Technical Service Commission.
