In a minor reshuffle in policing, the state government of Tripura has transferred and posted 3 IPS officer. A notification regarding the recent orders was signed by the chief secretary to the state government. The order includes IPS officers Shashwat Kumar, Ramesh Chandra Yadav and Kanta Jangir.
Mr. Shashwat Kumar is the IPS officer of 2016 batch. He was currently posted as SDPO ( Sub-Divisional Police officer) Sadar. According to the orders, he will soon be taking charge as the Additional SP (Urban) , West District. The officers also holds an additional charge of Deputy SP (CAW) West Tripura. Along with him two other officers who were in probation has also been assigned with the new postings.
IPS officer Ramesh Chandra Yadav has been appointed as SDPO of Amarpur. He is an IPS officer of 2017 batch. Meanwhile, Ms. Kanta Jangir has also been given her first posting after completing the probation. She will be the SDPO of Dharmanagar within Tripura Police. She was chosen for IPS in year 2018. Let it be noted that Deputy superintendent of police or Assistant superintendent of police are posted as SDPO.
