Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued transfer and posting orders for an IAS and an IFS officer, effecting key changes in the administration.
Rahul Yadav, a 2014 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, currently serving as Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department and holding additional charge as Mission Director, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), has been posted as Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited. He replaces Pankaj Magotra, who has been asked to await further orders in the General Administration Department.
In addition, Yadav has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director, J&K Power Corporation Limited. This relieves 2015 batch IAS officer Choudhary Mohammad Yasin of the additional charge.
The government has also transferred Sandeep Kumar, a 2011 batch IFS (Indian Forest Service) officer of the AGMUT cadre, from his current role as In-charge Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle. He has been appointed Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department and will also hold the additional charge of Mission Director, HADP, in addition to his own duties.
These administrative changes are aimed at streamlining leadership across key departments in the Union Territory.
