Lucknow: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued transfer orders for 11 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. The changes come as part of the state’s ongoing efforts to streamline law enforcement and improve administrative efficiency.
One of the most notable changes in the list is the transfer of IPS officer Tarun Gauba (IPS 2001 batch), who was serving as the Police Commissioner of Prayagraj. He has now been appointed as the Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Zone, Lucknow replacing the current incumbent
