12 IAS Officers Reshuffled in Kerala; Mohammed Hanish and Sharmila Mary Joseph Assigned Additional Charges

The government of Kerala issued orders on Thursday, reassigning several IAS officers to new roles across various departments.

Mohammed Hanish A.P.M., Principal Secretary of Industries, will now also oversee the Sports and Youth Affairs Department. Sharmila Mary Joseph, currently Principal Secretary of Local Self-Government, has been given additional responsibility for the Women and Child Development Department.

K. Vasuki, Secretary of Labour and Skills, will take on additional duties for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Museum (Zoo) departments. Meanwhile, T.V. Anupama, Special Secretary in Local Self-Government, has been relieved of her additional charge in the Revenue (Devaswom) Department.

Mir Mohammed Ali, Director of Industries, will now also serve as Special Secretary, Ports, while being relieved from his previous additional charge in Agriculture. Abdul Nasar B. has been transferred as Special Secretary, Fisheries, and will also handle Minority Welfare.

D. Sajith Babu, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Special Secretary, Revenue (Devaswom), while being relieved from his duties in Animal Husbandry. P.B. Nooh, Special Secretary of Transport, has been given full additional charge as Chairman of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation, with Aswathy Srinivas appointed as its Managing Director.

Additionally, Gopalakrishnan K. will serve as Managing Director of the Vytilla Mobility Hub Society while also handling the Kerala State Construction Corporation. Meera K., Sub-Collector of Fort Kochi, has been given additional charge as District Development Commissioner of Ernakulam. Safna Nazarudeen, Labour Commissioner, will take on the role of Director, Fisheries Department, as an additional responsibility.
