13 IPS Officers from Bihar to Attend Mid-Career Training Programme at NPA

Patna, Bihar: A group of 13 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from the 2012 to 2016 batches are set to participate in the Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP), Phase-III, which will take place at the National Police Academy (NPA) in Hyderabad from December 2 to 27. This training is a part of the ongoing professional development initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of mid-career IPS officers.

According to the state police headquarters, the participants in this prestigious programme include several senior officers holding key positions. Among them are Ravi Ranjan Kumar, the CID SP from the 2012 batch; Rama Shankar Rai, Commandant of Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP)-6, Muzaffarpur; Vishal Sharma, AIG (Welfare), Muzaffarpur, from the 2013 batch; and Vinay Tiwari, Rail SP, who are all set to benefit from this advanced training session.

The Mid-Career Training Programme, organized by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, is designed to equip IPS officers with the latest knowledge and strategies in law enforcement, public administration, and leadership, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in the police services.

This training will be a valuable opportunity for the officers to further hone their skills and contribute more effectively to the law enforcement community in Bihar and beyond.
