Bengaluru: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Government of Karnataka on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders for 16 IAS officers, including new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for five districts – Hassan, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Bagalkot, and Koppal. The reshuffle is seen as a part of the state government’s effort to enhance governance efficiency and bolster development efforts at both the district and department levels.

  • Outgoing: Sathyabhama C (IAS: 2012) → Now State Project Director, Samagra Shikshana Karnataka, Bengaluru
  • Incoming: Latha Kumari KS (IAS: 2012), former CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Bengaluru Urban

Udupi District-

  • Outgoing: Not specified
  • Incoming: Swaroopa TK (IAS: 2012), earlier Director, E-Governance, RDPR, Bengaluru

Dakshina Kannada District

  • Outgoing: Mullai Muhilan MP (IAS: 2013) → Now Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps, Bengaluru
  • Incoming: Darshan HV (IAS: 2016), from Commercial Taxes Department

Bagalkot District-
