In March 2025, a total of 16 IPS officers from different cadres and batches will be retiring. The officers include:
- Issac Pertin and Mari Riba from the AGMUT cadre (Both promotee IPS officer of 2004 batch)
- Md. Shafiul Haque (promotee IPS officer of 2007 batch), Arvind Kumar Gupta, Vijay Prasad, and Md. Quasim from the Bihar cadre
- Hemant Kalson from Haryana
- Anil Kushwah and Vineet Khanna from Madhya Pradesh
- Sanjay Saxena from Maharashtra
- Christopher Doungel from Manipur
- Temjensenla Jamir from Nagaland
- Ajay Maluja from Punjab
- Abhash Kumar and Amaraesh Pujari (1991 batch) from the Tamil Nadu cadre
- Sanjoy Mukherjee from the West Bengal cadre
Their retirement marks the conclusion of their distinguished careers in the Indian Police Service.
