Officers at the ADG level play a crucial role in strategic planning, inter-agency coordination, border management, internal security, counter-terrorism, and force modernization.
Senior-Level Administrative Move by MHA
Promotions at this level are typically made after careful assessment of service record, experience on central deputation, and operational exposure. The decision underscores the MHA’s focus on ensuring continuity and effectiveness in leadership across India’s internal security architecture.
