2 IAS Officer Appointed to Key Administrative Roles in Assam, KMS Bordoloi Named OSD to CM

Guwahati: The Assam Government has made significant appointments in its administration, with key officials being entrusted with new responsibilities.

1. IAS Kuntal Moni Sarmah (KMS) Bordoloi (Assam-Meghalaya) has been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and is now posted as Joint Secretary – Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprises Department. In addition, Bordoloi has been given the additional charge of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam.
2. Jadav Saikia IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 2011), who is currently serving as the Secretary – Administrative Reforms & Training, Pension & Public Grievances Department, has been given the additional charge as Secretary – Power (E) Department, Assam.

These appointments come as part of the state’s efforts to further streamline governance and ensure effective management across key departments.
