2001 batch IPS officer Tarun Gauba of Uttar Pradesh cadre, who is presently posted as Inspector General (IG) of Police Commissionerate, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has been empaneled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the centre.
