In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bihar government has transferred 24 IAS officers across various key administrative positions. The transfers, which include promotions and district postings, aim to streamline governance and bolster efficiency at the divisional and district levels.

Mr. Mayank Warvade (2001-batch IAS officer), currently serving as Commissioner of Patna Division, has been appointed as State Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council, Patna.

Mr. Saravanan M. (2002-batch IAS officer), Commissioner of Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur, is now posted as Secretary, Rural Works Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Manish Kumar (2005-batch IAS officer), Commissioner of Darbhanga Division, takes over as Secretary, Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Gopal Meena (2007-batch IAS officer), Commissioner of Saran Division, Chhapra, has been transferred as Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar (2007-batch IAS officer), Commissioner of Bhagalpur Division and holding additional charge of Commissioner, Munger Division, has been posted as Secretary, Education Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Kanwal Tanuj (2010-batch IAS officer), Special Secretary in the Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, is now Secretary, Minor Water Resources Department, Bihar, Patna.

Ms. Rachna Patil (2010-batch IAS officer), currently Special Secretary, General Administration Department (with additional charges in the Museum, Art, Culture and Youth Department and BIPARD), will now hold the upgraded post at the level of Secretary.

Mr. Animesh Kumar Parashar (2010-batch IAS officer), CEO-cum-Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation (also holding multiple additional charges), has been elevated to the Secretary level.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar Rai (2010-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of West Champaran, Bettiah, is now Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Md. Nayyar Iqbal (2010-batch IAS officer), Special Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Department, has been elevated to the rank of Secretary.

Mr. Meenendra Kumar (2010-batch IAS officer), serving as CEO-cum-Managing Director, Bihar State Education Finance Corporation, will now hold the upgraded post of Secretary.

Mr. Rakesh Kumar (2010-batch IAS officer), Director of Consolidation, Bihar, Patna, will also serve at the Secretary level.

Mr. Rahul Kumar (2011-batch IAS officer), Special Secretary, Finance Department (with additional disaster management responsibilities), is now posted as Managing Director of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Patna. He will also hold additional charges as Managing Director of BEDA and Bihar State Transmission Company Limited.

Mr. Nilesh Ramchandra Deore (2011-batch IAS officer), former Managing Director of North Bihar Power Distribution Company, is now Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department, Bihar, Patna, and will hold additional charge as Managing Director, Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited.

Ms. Inayat Khan (2012-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS officer), currently Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Bihar, Patna, will take over as Managing Director, Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.

Mr. Amit Kumar Pandey (2014-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Khagaria, has been transferred and posted as Director (designation incomplete in the source text).

Mr. Yashpal Meena (2014-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Vaishali, Hajipur, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Water Resources Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Prashant Kumar C.H. (2015-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Gopalganj, is appointed Director, Panchayati Raj, Bihar, Patna. He will additionally serve as Chief General Manager, Bihar Development Mission.

Mr. Mukul Kumar Gupta (2016-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Siwan, is now Director, Industries, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Anshul Aggarwal (2016-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Buxar, has been posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Vaibhav Chaudhary (2016-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Saharsa, will now serve as Joint Secretary, Health Department, Bihar, Patna.

Ms. Abhilasha Sharma (2017-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Jamui, is posted as Joint Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Abhishek Rajan (2018-batch IAS officer), Director of Fisheries, Bihar, Patna, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director, COMFED, Bihar, Patna.

Mr. Rajiv Roshan (2010-batch IAS officer), currently serving as Collector and District Magistrate of Darbhanga, has been posted as Commissioner of Saran Division, Chhapra. Mr. Kaushal Kishore (2010-batch IAS officer), Director of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Patna, has been appointed as Commissioner of Darbhanga Division.

Mr. Chandrashekhar Singh (2010-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Patna, will now serve as Commissioner of Patna Division, while Mr. Avnish Kumar Singh (2010-batch IAS officer), District Magistrate of Munger, has been appointed Commissioner of Munger Division. Mr. Raj Kumar (2010-batch IAS officer), Managing Director of COMFED, has been posted as Commissioner of Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur. Mr. Himanshu Kumar Rai (2010-batch IAS officer), Special Secretary, Planning and Development Department, has been appointed Commissioner of Bhagalpur Division.

In the district-level reshuffle, Mr. Tyagarajan S M (2011-batch IAS officer), District Officer of Gaya, has been transferred as District Magistrate of Patna. Mr. Naveen Kumar (2011-batch IAS officer), previously the State Transport Commissioner, has been posted as District Magistrate of Khagaria.

Mr. Kaushal Kumar (2012-batch IAS officer), DM of Supaul, has been shifted to Darbhanga. Mr. Kundan Kumar (2012-batch IAS officer), DM of Purnia, will now serve in Nalanda. Mr. Arvind Kumar Verma (2012-batch IAS officer), DM of Madhubani, has been posted to Munger.

Mr. Vidya Nand Singh (2013-batch IAS officer), Director of Economics and Statistics, has been appointed DM of Buxar. Mr. Sunil Kumar-1 (2013-batch IAS officer), Settlement Officer of Munger, has been posted to Kaimur (Bhabua). Mr. Pawan Kumar Sinha (2013-batch IAS officer), Additional Secretary, Water Resources Department, is now DM of Gopalganj.

Mr. Shashank Shubhankar (2014-batch IAS officer), DM of Nalanda, has been transferred as DM of Gaya. Mr. Aditya Prakash (2014-batch IAS officer), Additional Secretary, Health Department, has been posted to Siwan.

Mr. Sawan Kumar (2015-batch IAS officer), previously DM of Kaimur, will now serve in Supaul. Ms. Varsha Singh (2016-batch IAS officer), Additional Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, has been appointed DM of Vaishali, Hajipur. Mr. Anshul Kumar (2016-batch IAS officer), DM of Banka, is posted to Purnia.

Mr. Dipesh Kumar (2017-batch IAS officer), Deputy Development Commissioner, Madhubani, has been elevated as DM of Saharsa.
