3 IAS of Assam-Meghalaya 2024 Batch Posted to District Training Posts, Tejas Agnihotri Posted As AC, Nagaon

Jorhat: Assam, April 25: Three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the Assam-Meghalaya 2024 batch have been posted to various districts for their District Training following the successful completion of Phase-I of the IAS Professional Course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie.

  1. Tejas Agnihotri has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner (AC) in Nagaon for District Training.
  2. Unhale Ashish Vidhyadhar has been posted as Assistant Commissioner in Cachar.
  3. Sindhu N Raghavan has been assigned as Assistant Commissioner in Jorhat.

As part of the standard training procedure, newly inducted IAS officers undergo district training under a senior mentor to gain firsthand experience in administration and governance.

These postings mark a significant step in the training of these officers as they gain hands-on experience in the administration and governance of these key districts in Assam.
