Former IAS, IPS Among 37 Dignitaries Submit A Memo To Rajasthan Governor Amidst Rising Crimes In The State

Amidst the rising crime in the state, 37 notable Army officer, former IAS-IPS officers, vice-chancellors, income tax commissioners, and many chairpersons have submitted a memorandum to Rajasthan Governor, Kalraj Mishra to intervene and take action against the rising kidnapping, rape and gang rape cases in the state.
The signatories in the memorandum also pointed out that the state has been on the top spot when it comes to crime against women and on second in rape related cases, according to the National Crime Record Bureau.
In the memo, the signatories mentioned many horrific incidents where a brutal crime was committed. It included a rape case of a 15-year old girl in Sikar who was studying in class 8. Among other incidents, the blatant murder of Barmer temple priest Babulal Vaishnav was also highlighted who was burnt alive over a land dispute case.
The signatories seek that the Governor should intervene and find out a solution to stop the rising crimes in the state and make it a place for people to live peacefully.
