Jammu and Kashmir: In a significant move, four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the 2016 batch posted in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been promoted to the Junior Administrative Grade (Level 12 in the pay matrix). This promotion comes as a recognition of their exemplary service in key administrative roles.
The four IAS officers promoted to this grade are:
- Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kathua
- Saloni Rai, DC Udhampur
- Dr. Devansh Yadav, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Commissioner
- Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, DC Kargil
In addition, 27 joint AGMUT cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from Jammu and Kashmir have also been elevated to the Junior Administrative Grade (Level 12 in the pay matrix) within the IPS cadre. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued the official order confirming their promotion.
