In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Among the notable changes, three officers have been assigned crucial roles within the Chief Minister’s office.
The following are the details of the officers and their new postings:
- Azimul Haque (IAS: 2007: AGMUT): Formerly the Member (Administration) of the Delhi Jal Board with an additional charge as CEO of the Delhi Waqf Board, Haque has now been transferred and posted as the CEO of the Delhi Waqf Board.
- Dr. Madhu Rani Teotia (IAS: 2008: AGMUT): Upon her joining the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), Dr. Teotia has been appointed as the Secretary to the Chief Minister.
- Sandeep Kumar Singh (IAS: 2011: AGMUT): Singh has also joined GNCTD and has been assigned the role of Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
- Ravi Jha (IAS: 2011: AGMUT): Another officer joining the Delhi administration, Jha has been posted as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
- Sachin Rana (IAS: 2014: AGMUT): Rana, who was previously the Additional Chief Electoral Officer, has been given additional charge as the Member (Administration) of the Delhi Jal Board.
These changes come as part of the ongoing efforts to streamline and strengthen the functioning of the Delhi government.
