5 Senior IAS Officers Got Reshuffled in Himachal Pradesh, A. Shainamol Gets Additional Charge As Secy, AYUSH

The Himachal Pradesh government has issued new transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers following the recommendations of the Civil Services Board. These changes, effective immediately, are aimed at improving administrative efficiency and governance across key departments.

Ms. A. Shainamol Gets Additional Charge

Ms. A. Shainamol (2007-batch IAS officer), currently serving as Secretary (Administrative Reforms, Training and Foreign Affairs and Public Grievance Redressal), has been assigned the additional responsibility of Secretary (AYUSH). This move consolidates her oversight over several key portfolios.

Ms. Rakhil Kahlon Assigned New Role

Ms. Rakhil Kahlon (2008-batch IAS officer), who previously held the position of Secretary (AYUSH), has now been appointed as Secretary (Digital Technologies and Governance and Jal Shakti Department) on a substantive basis.

Ms. Richa Verma to Head SIDC

Ms. Richa Verma (2012-batch IAS officer), who is presently the Managing Director of the State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation, will now also serve as the Managing Director of the State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC). She will continue to hold her current charge at the Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation. Mr. Rajeshwar Goyal has been relieved of the additional charge of SIDC.

Ms. Ritika Appointed Additional Store Controller

Ms. Ritika (2019-batch IAS officer), who currently serves as Director, Land Records, has been posted as Additional Store Controller in the Industries Department. HPAS officer Dr. Harish Gajju has been relieved of the additional charge of Store Controller.

Mr. Abhishek Verma to Head Land Records

Mr. Abhishek Verma (2018-batch IAS officer), who was earlier under transfer as Director, Digital Technology and Governance, will now serve as Director, Land Records, Shimla.

Dr. Nipun Jindal Retains Current Post with Additional Responsibility

IAS officer Dr. Nipun Jindal (2014 batch) will continue as Director, Digital Technologies and Governance. He will also take on the additional responsibility of Managing Director of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).

A notification regarding these administrative changes has been issued by the Chief Secretary, Mr. Prabodh Saxena (1990-batch IAS officer).
