Ms. Anju Sharma, a 1991-batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, has been empanelled for an Additional Secretary-level post. Mr. Aniruddhe Mukerjee, a 1993-batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre and a topper of his batch, has also been empanelled. He is presently serving as the Principal Resident Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi.

Mr. Nitishwar Kumar, a 1996-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, currently serves as Additional Secretary (equivalent) in the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of India. He has now been empanelled for a regular Additional Secretary-level post. Mr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, a 1997-batch IAS officer of the Jharkhand cadre, is presently posted as Additional Secretary (equivalent) in the Department of Higher Education at the Centre. He, too, has been empanelled for the Additional Secretary-level post.

Three more 1997-batch IAS officers have been empanelled for Additional Secretary equivalent level roles. Mr. Manish Bhardwaj, of the Gujarat cadre, is currently serving at the Joint Secretary level in the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Mr. Shantanu, of the Tripura cadre, is posted at the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DONER) as a Joint Secretary. Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu, of the Uttarakhand cadre, is presently serving in his parent cadre.

It is worth noting that both Mr. Aniruddhe Mukerjee and Mr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, who topped their respective batches, are among the officers who have been empanelled in this round. The empanelment reflects their competence and the trust placed in them by the Centre for taking up higher responsibilities.
