In a major administrative reshuffle, the Tripura government has transferred and posted eight IAS and TCS officers with immediate effect. The General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department issued a notification detailing the changes across multiple districts.
Mr. Upendra Jamatia (IAS) has been reassigned from Supdt. Engineer, RD Circle-II, Gomati District, Udaipur, to ADM & Collector (PPs), Sepahijala District, Bishramganj. Mr. Sumit K. Pandey (2020-batch IAS officer), previously serving as ADM & Collector (PPs) in Khowai, has been posted to Dhalai District, Ambassa. Mr. Mihir Kanti Gop (IAS) has been appointed as ADM & Collector (PPs), North Tripura, Dharmanagar, after serving as Chief Engineer, Urban Development Department, Agartala. Mr. Rinku Lather (2020-batch IAS officer) is now ADM & Collector, Sepahijala District, Bishramganj.
Among the TCS officers, Mr. Subhas Acharya has been assigned as ADM & Collector (PPs) in Khowai, while Mr. Subrata Majumder has been appointed as Additional CEO, TRLM, Agartala. Ms. Sumitra Debnath will serve as Joint Director, Tribal Welfare Department, Agartala, and Mr. Vanladika Darlong has been posted as Sr. Dy. Magistrate, Gomati District, Udaipur.
The reshuffle, signed off by Mr. J. Datta, Under Secretary to the Government of Tripura, aims to improve governance and enhance public service delivery in the state.
