Hyderabad: The Revanth Reddy led Telangana government has transferred eight senior IAS officers as part of a significant administrative reshuffle. The transfers, announced late Thursday night, have seen officers moved to key positions within the state government.

2006 batch IAS officer K. Surendra Mohan, the current Commissioner of Transport, has been appointed as the in-charge of the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, as well as Director of Marketing, relieving P. Uday Kumar from the in-charge role.

2012 batch IAS officer RV Karnan, Director of Health, has been given additional responsibilities as the Chief Executive Officer of Arogya Sree, replacing Siva Sankar Ltheti, who has been transferred to the General Administration Department.

In another notable change, 2012 batch IAS officer K. Harish (SCS), Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, has been appointed as Director of Commercial Taxes, a post that had been vacant, relieving SAM Rizvi.

2015 batch IAS officer SK Yasmeen Basha has been tasked with overseeing the Telangana Seeds Development Corporation, alongside her regular role as Director of Horticulture.

K. Chandrasekhar Reddy, currently serving as the Director of HACA, has been appointed Managing Director of Telangana Foods. B. Srinivas Reddy, the former MD of Telangana Foods, will now report back to his parent department, Handlooms and Textiles. Sanchit Gangwar, the Additional Collector of Wanaparthy, has been transferred to the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) position in Narayanpet District.

These changes reflect the state government’s ongoing efforts to optimize administrative efficiency and governance across various departments. The new appointments are expected to strengthen operations and support ongoing initiatives within the state.
