IPS officer Mr. A K Digambar Fulzele has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of Border Security Force (BSF). Mr. Fulzele is an officer from 2001 batch and Himachal Pradesh cadre. He has previously served as Principle, PTC, Daroh district and IG equivalent post at Government of India. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Fulzele has been appointed to the post on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
