The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved several appointments in the Indian Railways, with one officer appointed to the Railway Board and four officers to General Manager (GM) positions.
Appointments:
- Railway Board:
- Mr. Hitendra Malhotra, IRMS, has been appointed as Member (Operations & Business Development) (O&BD) in the Railway Board at the Level 17 post.
- General Managers (Level 16 Posts):
- Mr. Vijay Kumar, IRSME, has been appointed as General Manager, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Chittaranjan.
- Mr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, IRSE, takes over as General Manager, Central Organization for Railway Electrification (CORE), Prayagraj.
- Mr. Tarun Prakash, IRSSE, has been assigned as General Manager, South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur.
- Mr. Mukul Saran Mathur, IRTS, has been appointed as General Manager, South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi.
These appointments are part of the government’s efforts to strengthen leadership within the Indian Railways and align with operational and developmental priorities.
