With the upcoming elections in the North Eastern state of India, Assam, Deputy Commissioner of Dhubri district has launched an app and a website called ‘Nirvachanmitra’ to act as a bridge between the administration and the people of the district.
The app was formally launched by Deputy Commissioner Deba Kumar Kalita and District Election Officer Partha Pratim Barman on Tuesday , 16 March. While launching the app, Mr. Kalita said that the app is build with keeping young voters in mind. He also said that the app has been launched under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Programme (SVEEP) Sveep of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The app can be downloaded through App Store and the website can be accessed by visiting www.nirvachanmitra.in.
