New Delhi: Anand Bantia, a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), has been appointed as Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in New Delhi for a period of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday, the competent authority approved his appointment for five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Appointed After Recommendation by Ministry of Railways
The appointment follows his recommendation for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways.
Before this posting, Bantia was serving as Senior Divisional Finance Manager (Sr. DFM) in Southern Railway, based in Chennai.
His move to SSB marks an important deputation from railway financial administration to a Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) functioning under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

As Integrated Financial Advisor, Bantia will be responsible for:
