Merely a week after getting transferred as the Special Chief Secretary to the labour department of the Andhra Pradesh government, senior IAS officer Mr. Gopalakrishna Dwivedi (1993 batch) was yet again transferred on June 24th and was asked to report to the General Administration Department.
It must be mentioned that while being posted as the Chief Electoral Officer during the 2019 general elections, Officer Dwivedi, had taken several decisions that favoured the YSR Congress during the election against the now-ruling TDP. Back then, the TDP had raised several serious corruption allegations against the senior bureaucrat.
