Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday issued orders transferring and posting several IAS officers with immediate effect as part of a statewide administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening district-level and departmental governance.
The orders were issued by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand through G.O.Rt.No.63 dated January 12, 2026. Officials said the reshuffle is intended to enhance administrative efficiency across municipal bodies, districts, and key departments.
Key IAS Postings and Transfers
As per the government order:
- P. Sreenivasulu (IAS: 2017), Municipal Commissioner of Guntur Municipal Corporation, has been posted as Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate, Markapuram district.
- Kathawate Mayur Ashok (IAS: 2018) has been transferred from Visakhapatnam district and appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Guntur Municipal Corporation.
- Gopala Krishna Ronanki (IAS: 2017) has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department.
Appointments to Key Departments and Urban Bodies
- Shrivas Nupur Ajaykumar (IAS: 2018) has been appointed Director of Civil Supplies.
- Kalpana Kumari (IAS: 2018) has been transferred from the Girijan Cooperative Corporation and posted as Joint Collector, Prakasam district.
- R. Govinda Rao (IAS: 2018) has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA).

The reshuffle also included several district-level postings:
- Nidhi Meena – Joint Collector, YSR Kadapa district
- C. Vishnu Charan – Joint Collector, Anantapur district
- Mallavarapu Suryateja – Joint Collector, Anakapalli district
- Adharsh Rajeendran – Joint Collector, Chittoor district

Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand stated that additional posting orders would be issued separately, indicating that further administrative adjustments may follow. Officials noted that the reshuffle spans multiple cadres and reflects evolving administrative priorities across the state.
