The President of India, based on recommendations from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), has approved the promotion of the following IRS (Income Tax) officers to the grade of Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT) (Level 14 in the pay matrix: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs.2,18,200) for the panel year 2025. These appointments are made on an in-situ basis, effective from the date of assumption of charge of the post by the officers, and will remain valid until further orders.
