The Haryana Government has issued a transfer and posting order involving senior IAS officer Ashima Brar, with immediate effect.
Ms Brar, a 2004-batch IAS officer, currently serves as Commissioner and Secretary, Cooperation Department, and Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd.
She has now been assigned additional charge as Commissioner and Secretary, Excise and Taxation Department, in addition to her existing responsibilities.
The move is part of routine administrative restructuring aimed at streamlining departmental operations across the state.
