Mr Ashok Tiwari has been appointed as IG, ITBP(Indo-Tibbat Border Police). According to an order issued by Ministry of Home Affairs he is appointed for a period of 5 years.
Mr Tiwari is 1993 batch IPS Officer from Himachal Pradesh Cadre. Previously he was serving as ADG, Himachal Pradesh Police.
