Bhopal: On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav delivered a rousing and emotional address at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal, pledging unwavering commitment to the development of the state. Amid patriotic fervor and cultural celebrations, the Chief Minister highlighted the achievements of the state government and laid out a vision for a self-reliant, prosperous, and inclusive Madhya Pradesh.

Beginning with Patriotism and Remembrance

CM Yadav began the celebrations by hoisting the tricolor and singing patriotic songs, invoking the memory of India’s freedom fighters and local heroes like Tantya Mama, Rani Durgavati, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Jhalkari Bai. He said:

“Independence Day is a day to remember all known and unknown patriots who sacrificed everything for the nation.

Operation Sindoor: Symbol of India’s Power

Dr. Yadav lauded the recent Operation Sindoor, stating it showcased India’s military strength, strategic leadership, and international commitment. He emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bold decisions in modernizing the military, scrapping Article 370, and enacting the Nari Shakti Vandan Act.

“Operation Sindoor proved India is ready to speak in any language to defend its unity and integrity.”

Commitment to Development, No Matter the Challenge

The CM reaffirmed his resolve to develop Madhya Pradesh at all costs, saying:

We have faced many crises, we have played with obstacles… but development will not stop.”

He emphasized that the state budget for 2025-26, prepared without introducing any new taxes, focuses on youth, farmers, women, and the poor (GYAN).

Ladli Behna Yojana monthly assistance increased to ₹1500.
