The government of Assam recently issued transfer and posting orders for two eminent IAS officers.

Mr. Ajay Tewari, a 1993 batch IAS officer, presently posted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS — Home & Political) in the Department of Mines & Minerals, was given additional charge as the Chairman of State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts.

Ms. Aruna Rajoria, a 2004 batch IAS officer, the incumbent Commissioner & Secretary in the Departments of Agriculture, Information & Public Relations and Printing & Stationery, Agriculture Production Commissioner, Chairman, State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts, Chairman, ARIAS Society and Chairman, Assam Skill Outreach Mission (Addl. Charge) was relieved from the charge of Chairman, State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts.
