Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Bags Rs 569 Crore Defence Orders, Including Radars and Tank Overhaul

New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has secured additional orders worth Rs 569 crore. This follows the company’s previous disclosure on 12th December 2025, reflecting its continued growth and strategic importance in India’s defence sector.

Orders Include Radars, Tank Overhaul, and Advanced Defence Systems

The new orders cover a broad spectrum of critical defence equipment and services, including radars, tank overhaul projects, communication systems, fire control systems, simulators, antenna stabilization systems, security software, components, upgrades, spares, and related services.

This order inflow highlights BEL’s role as a leading supplier of advanced defence electronics in India and its commitment to enhancing the operational readiness and security of the Indian armed forces.

Market Reaction and Stock Performance

Following the announcement, BEL shares were last trading on the BSE at Rs 398.40, slightly lower than the previous close of Rs 400.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 824,080 across 14,235 trades. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 407.50 and a low of Rs 397.15, with a net turnover of Rs 33.22 crore.

This market movement reflects investor sentiment and interest in BEL’s expanding order book and strong presence in the defence electronics sector.
