Mumbai: BEML Limited, a leading defence and engineering public sector enterprise, has informed stock exchanges about key changes in its senior management. In a regulatory filing, the company announced the promotion of four Chief General Managers (CGMs) to the position of Executive Director, effective immediately.
Details of Senior Management Promotions
According to the disclosure, the following executives have been elevated to the role of Executive Director:
- Mr. Shekhar K – Promoted from Chief General Manager to Executive Director
- Mr. Akhil Kumar – Promoted from Chief General Manager to Executive Director
- Mr. Cmde. Raghupati Gopal Krishna Rao – Promoted from Chief General Manager to Executive Director
- Mr. Sundaresan S – Promoted from Chief General Manager to Executive Director
With these promotions, the executives now fall under the category of Senior Management (one level below the Board), as defined under SEBI regulations.

BEML stated that the information was disclosed to both the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) and BSE Limited, where the company’s shares are listed under the symbol BEML and scrip code 500048, respectively.
The announcement has been made in compliance with Regulation 30 read with Para A(7) of Part A to Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
