New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), the Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has reported an impressive financial performance for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The company posted a 24.87 percent year-on-year growth in Profit After Tax (PAT), which surged to Rs 969.13 crore from Rs 776.14 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations also grew steadily by 5.19 percent, reaching Rs 4,416.83 crore, compared to Rs 4,198.77 crore during Q1 of FY 2024-25. Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased by 24.28 percent to Rs 1,289.24 crore, up from Rs 1,037.34 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Strong Order Book Indicates Healthy Project Pipeline
As of July 1, 2025, BEL’s order book stood at a robust Rs 74,859 crore, indicating a strong pipeline of projects in the defence and allied sectors. This solid order backlog provides visibility for sustained revenue growth in the coming quarters.
