New Delhi: The Ministry of Power has re-appointed Shri Bhaskar Bhattacharya as a Non-Official Independent Director on the Board of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) for a period of one year from the date of notification of his appointment, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
About Bhaskar Bhattacharya
Aged 63, Bhattacharya is an Honours Graduate in Commerce and holds degrees in Law and Business Management. With over 24 years of experience as an advocate, he currently serves as Chairman of the Hooghly Tax Advocates Bar Association and is a member of the West Bengal Taxation Tribunal. He has also been associated with the NGO Nibedan as its General Secretary.

Mr Bhattacharya earlier served a three-year term as Independent Director on the PFC Board, during which he was part of key committees including the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and served as Chairman of the Board Level Risk Management Committee.
