Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel is set to complete three years as Gujarat’s 18th Chief Minister on December 12, 2025. After assuming office with a historic mandate of 156 seats, CM Patel has spearheaded Gujarat’s development journey under the guidance of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, setting benchmarks in governance, public service, and holistic progress across multiple sectors.
Landmark Initiatives and Global Recognition
Under CM Patel’s leadership, Gujarat has successfully hosted international events such as the G20 meetings and the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. For the first time, the government organized Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences across North, South, Central Gujarat, and Kutch-Saurashtra, aligning local aspirations with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and Viksit Gujarat @2047.
During the tragic Air India plane crash in 2025, CM Patel’s decisive leadership ensured a swift and effective response, showcasing Gujarat’s administrative efficiency and humanitarian commitment.
2025 has also been declared the ‘Urban Development Year’, emphasizing modern, green, and technology-enabled cities. Furthermore, Gujarat’s growing prominence in sports has been reinforced, with preparations underway to host the 24th Commonwealth Games in 2030.
