- Recent inauguration of Micron facility in Sanand moves Gujarat closer to becoming a semiconductor hub.
- Gujarat universities, around 35 in total, now offer chip design courses.
- Collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar to develop fabrication labs.
He stressed that Shantigram Gurukul could play a key role by offering courses that combine values with technical skills in AI, electronics, and chip design to prepare youth for the semiconductor industry.

Founded in 1948 by Pujya Shastriji Dharmajivandasji Swami, Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul has grown from 7 students to over 190,000 alumni, producing doctors, engineers, teachers, and senior officers.
