26 IAS officers in Bihar have been promoted to Additional Secretary. The General Administration Department has given this information by issuing a notification. District Magistrates of many districts are also included in the promotion list. Those officers include Amarendra Kumar (Collector and District Officer Lakhisarai), Vijay Kumar Singh (Settlement Officer Begusarai), Pankaj Kumar (Collector and District Officer Shivhar), SM Kaiser Sultan (Joint Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Patna), Mithilesh. There are 28 administrative officers including Kumar Sahu (Joint Secretary cum Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Election Department, Patna), Suman Kumar (then Joint Secretary, Building Construction Department), Ashutosh Kumar Verma (Collector and District Officer Nawada).
