Bihar Constable Driver Written Exam on December 10: CSBC Issues Guidelines

Patna: The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has announced that the written examination for recruitment to the post of Constable Drivers in Bihar Police will be held on December 10, 2025 (Wednesday). The exam will cover 4,361 vacancies and will be conducted in a single shift from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm across 15 districts in Bihar.

Reporting Time and Entry Guidelines

Candidates have been instructed to report to their respective examination centers by 9:30 am. Entry will strictly require the e-admit card, as no candidate will be allowed to enter without it. The Central Selection Board (CSBC) has clarified that admit cards will not be sent by post this time, and candidates must download and print their e-admit card from the official website to appear in the exam.

Along with the e-admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, PAN card, or voter ID. For candidates unable to download their e-admit cards online, duplicate e-admit cards can be obtained from the CSBC office on Harding Road, Patna between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on December 8, 2025.

District Details and Admit Card Download

From November 25, 2025, candidates can check the district of their examination center on the official CSBC website by entering their registration number or application number, mobile number, and date of birth. The e-admit cards will be available for download from December 3 to December 10, 2025.

Physical Efficiency Test for 19,838 Constable Posts

The CSBC has also provided updates regarding the 19,838 constable posts for which written exams were previously conducted. Results for these posts were declared on September 26, 2025. Selected candidates will appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) starting December 15, 2025, at Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Singh Government High School, Gardanibagh, Patna.

Admit cards for the PET will be available for download from November 25, 2025, on the departmental website. No physical copies will be sent by post.

Examination Background

The written exam for the 19,838 constable vacancies was conducted in six phases earlier this year on July 16, 20, 23, 27, 30, and August 3, 2025. Candidates can access detailed information about the examination, results, and PET on the CSBC official website.

Candidates are advised to stay updated with the CSBC website for all notifications related to admit cards, exam schedules, and test guidelines.
