  • 1.50 crore families have been connected under Jeevika
  • 1.81 crore women have received ₹10,000 financial assistance under the women employment scheme

Expansion Across Hospitals, Colleges, and Public Institutions

  • SC/ST hostels
  • Medical colleges
  • Polytechnic institutions
  • District and sub-divisional hospitals

Over 6,000 Jeevika Didis are currently engaged in running these kitchens across Bihar, ensuring both employment generation and affordable food services.

Focus on Quality and Affordability Driving Demand

The growing popularity of Didi Ki Rasoi is attributed to its focus on:

  • Hygienic food preparation

  • Reliable service quality

Officials stated that demand has been increasing steadily, prompting plans for rapid expansion based on local requirements.

University Leadership Praises Initiative

Vice Chancellor Prof. Upendra Prasad Singh of Patliputra University appreciated the initiative, stating that such efforts promote self-reliance among women while improving campus facilities.

He added that the initiative represents a strong example of combining education, service, and social empowerment.

Inspection and Appreciation of Facilities

After inaugurating the cafeteria, the minister inspected the kitchen facilities and praised the quality of arrangements. He also visited the Vice Chancellor’s office, where he was formally honored.
