The event attracted over 3,000 delegates from leading global organizations across pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotechnology, and digital health, alongside over 1,000 visitors.

The closing ceremony featured virtual remarks from Mr. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister for Industry and Supply, Government of India, followed by a valedictory session attended by Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Coal and Mines, Government of India, and Mr. D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, along with other dignitaries.

  2. Genica Bioscience
    • A biotechnology company focusing on molecular and cellular technologies, developing research tools, diagnostics, and therapeutic proteins.
  3. ProEnz Biosciences
    • A molecular diagnostics startup developing accurate and rapid PCR-based cancer diagnostic kits for breast, colon, and lung cancers.
  4. Boltzmann Labs
    • Pioneering AI-driven drug discovery with a unified platform integrating machine learning, automation, and self-driving labs to accelerate scientific research.
  5. Utopia Therapeutics
    • Focused on developing innovative therapies for metabolic diseases prevalent in India, such as fatty liver and obesity.

Key Takeaways from Industry Leaders

Mr. Piyush Goyal emphasized Telangana’s emergence as a leading healthcare hub with India’s largest pharma clusters and biotech research centers. He highlighted initiatives like Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal, an Industrial Node in Zaheerabad, and the AIIMS at Bibinagar, inviting global investors to seize India’s growing opportunities.

Mr. G. Kishan Reddy praised Hyderabad’s role as the “bulk drug capital and vaccine capital of India,” with over 800 pharma, biotech, and MedTech companies fostering a robust innovation ecosystem.

Mr. D. Sridhar Babu celebrated BioAsia 2025’s record-breaking attendance, surpassing previous years. He highlighted the success of C4IR Telangana, which completed its first year, driving digital health initiatives, workforce skilling, and healthcare solutions. He also noted the successful completion of a synthetic organic chemistry skilling program, where 82% of the students were female, with 60% from tier 2 and 3 cities or villages.
