Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Unveils ₹26.93 Crore Development Projects to Modernize Bilaspur

Chief Minister lays foundation for new roads, public buildings, and civic amenities, aiming to modernize Bilaspur and strengthen its infrastructure.

Bilaspur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday announced a major development push for Bilaspur city, inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for projects worth ₹26.93 crore. The grand event was held at the newly constructed Atal Parisar near Arpa River View, marking a significant step toward strengthening the city’s infrastructure.

Major Inaugurations Worth ₹12.43 Crore

During the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated completed development works worth ₹12.43 crore. Key highlights include:

  • Opening of the newly built Atal Parisar
  • A commercial complex in Imlipara constructed at a cost of ₹10 crore
  • Construction of a new floor at Marathi Kanya Shala
  • Development of Rakshit Aarakshi Kendra

Addressing the gathering, CM Sai emphasized that these facilities will enhance public convenience and contribute to modernizing Bilaspur’s urban landscape.

Foundation Laid for ₹14.50 Crore New Projects

In addition to inaugurations, foundation stones were laid for new projects worth ₹14.50 crore. These projects include:

  • Road construction and upgrades
  • Development of public buildings
  • Expansion of basic civic amenities

These initiatives are expected to significantly improve transportation, education infrastructure, public safety, and overall civic services in the city.

Bilaspur to Become a Development Engine

Speaking at the event, CM Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the government is committed to transforming Bilaspur into a strong growth engine for Chhattisgarh. He highlighted that modern infrastructure like Atal Parisar will create better opportunities for youth, women, and the general public.

The event witnessed the presence of local representatives, government officials, and a large number of citizens, reflecting strong public interest and enthusiasm.
