Part of the 78th RR Batch’s Basic Training
The institutional attachment in Manipur formed part of the broader training programme of the 78th RR batch.
The batch comprises 151 officer trainees, including 16 foreign officers from Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives. The trainees completed their Phase-I basic training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad, with their training programme also involving attachments with central police organisations and other institutions.
The five-day CRPF attachment in Manipur offered the 21 trainees an opportunity to gain exposure to the functioning of security forces and policing requirements in the state.
