BPCL’s MAK Lubricants Launches Nationwide Radio Campaign to Honour Mechanics Across India

New Delhi: In a powerful tribute to the unsung heroes who keep India moving, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), under its flagship brand MAK Lubricants, has launched a nationwide radio campaign titled “Thank You, Mechanics – For Safe and Smooth Journeys.”

As part of BPCL’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the campaign aims to recognise and celebrate the crucial role of mechanics in ensuring road safety and vehicle reliability.

Massive Radio Outreach: 18,000+ Spots Across 116 Cities

The 30-day campaign will air across 13 leading radio stations, reaching listeners in 116 cities. It includes:

  • Over 18,000 radio spots
  • 16+ lakh seconds of airtime

Special audio jingles in 13 regional languages voiced by MAK Lubricants’ brand ambassador, Rahul Dravid

In addition, radio jockeys (RJs) will spotlight mechanics through mentions during traffic updates, time checks, and live shows, fostering listener engagement.

Mechanics in the Spotlight: Interviews, Meetups, and On-Ground Activations

Going beyond the airwaves, the campaign will feature:

  • 1,000+ radio interviews with mechanics
  • Live RJ interactions at 200+ transport hubs
  • Meet-and-greet sessions for 5,000+ mechanics at radio stations
  • Creation of 200+ RJ reels for social media platforms

These elements aim to celebrate the mechanic fraternity while increasing public awareness of their contribution to road safety and transportation.
